Is Image Beneficial To Humanity - Part 6

Is Image Beneficial To Humanity Despite all this, we continue to write books about the perfect image and in doing so perpetuate the stereotype. We continue to reinforce beliefs about how one should present themselves on stage, in a crowd, instead of letting the human being shine through. A suit and tie can cover up the missing passion and soul of a human being.

I bring this up to show you just how fake and false an image really is. In addition, to demonstrate the damage that it’s doing to our society. At the same time that this use of image is going up, so too is drug addiction, alcoholism, depression, teenage pregnancies, debt and many other ‘bad’ things in our society. Thus, I’ll ask the question that I asked earlier again, what does our image have to do with what’s in our head and our heart?

The point I’m making with all this is why do we continue to trust people based mostly on image, when we know how easy it is to fake it? Why do we buy from the image, the fa├žade, but often won’t even give someone dressed as if I was, for instance vagrants, the opportunity to even open their mouths.
I call for a change in our society. Let’s stop trusting what we see on the outside and start judging people by what they say and what they do. The company CEO is just as important and just as human, as the average person is.

We don’t judge human beings anymore; we judge their image...
